Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Jwalix, from product basics to security.
Jwalix is an AI-powered applicant tracking and recruiting platform. Jobs, candidates, applications, interviews, placements, client accounts, campaigns, and reporting all live in one workspace instead of separate tools.
An applicant tracking system is software that manages hiring from job posting to hire. It stores every job requisition and candidate, records each application against the job it was submitted to, moves those applications through pipeline stages, and keeps the interviews, feedback, and hiring decisions attached to the same record. The point is one system of record for recruiting, instead of a shared inbox and a spreadsheet.
An AI-powered ATS is an applicant tracking system where AI performs recruiting work inside the hiring workflow rather than sitting beside it as a separate tool. In practice that means ranking candidates by how well they match a role, screening applicants, drafting job descriptions and outreach, and carrying out routine record-keeping steps — all against the same data the recruiting team works from, under the same permissions.
A traditional ATS stores and organises hiring data; the recruiter does every action. An AI ATS also takes actions. The practical test is whether the AI can change anything: an assistant that only answers questions about your pipeline is a traditional ATS with a chat box, while an AI ATS can create a candidate, link a submission, schedule an interview, or run a screening call — and is constrained by the same permissions as the person who asked.
The AI Recruiter in Jwalix calls thirteen tools against the live workspace: it creates jobs and candidates, links submissions, books interviews, sends email, and searches job boards. It runs on the permissions of the person using it, so it can never reach a record that person could not. Jwalix also screens candidates by phone, matches candidates semantically, and exposes a Model Context Protocol surface so an external agent can run those same tools under the same permission checks.
Jwalix works for in-house recruiting and HR teams as well as staffing agencies. Agencies additionally use Accounts and Contacts to manage client relationships and Placements to track successful hires.

Yes. A single job requisition can be distributed to job boards including LinkedIn, Dice, Foundit, Naukri, and Juicebox without re-entering the posting on each site.
AI features are built into the existing workflow rather than a separate tool: a Recruiting Copilot surfaces candidate matches and summaries in context, and AI Interviews let candidates complete an async interview with a shareable public feedback link.
Jwalix is multi-tenant by design. Every request is scoped to your company through a tenant identifier tied to your own workspace database, keeping your data separate from other tenants.
Permissions are granular module-action strings, such as jobs.edit or candidates.delete, rather than a single fixed role. Admins assign exactly the access each teammate needs from Settings.
Sessions use JWT access and refresh tokens, with the app silently refreshing your session in the background so you stay signed in securely without repeated logins.
