Frontend Engineer, Angular
Build the module screens recruiters use all day — jobs, candidates, interviews, campaigns — in our Angular 15 codebase.

What we're building
Jwalix is an AI-powered applicant tracking platform for in-house recruiting teams and staffing agencies who want one workspace instead of stitched-together tools — jobs, candidates, interviews, placements, campaigns, and reporting, all in one place, with an AI Recruiting Copilot built into the workflow rather than bolted on. What you'd be doing
Jwalix's product is one Angular application: most features are declared directly in the app module and routed eagerly, feature by feature, rather than split into a maze of lazy-loaded micro-frontends. You'd own entire module screens end to end — list views, forms, detail panels — talking to a REST API and working inside a shared Material-based design system.
You'd join a two-person frontend team responsible for essentially all of the product's UI — there's no separate platform team owning shared components behind an internal API. You build both the components and the screens that use them.
You'd report to the Engineering Lead and pair closely with the backend engineer building the API for whatever module you're on.
What you'll do
- Ship full module screens — Build list, form, and detail views for modules like Candidates, Interviews, and Campaigns — reading data from and writing back to the REST API.
- Work inside the shared design system — Build with the existing shared component library (dialogs, entity panels, pagination, autocompletes) instead of one-off UI per screen.
- Handle permissions in the UI — Respect the module-action permission model (jobs.edit, candidates.delete, …) in what you render and what you disable, not just on the server.
- Care about real data at scale — Get pagination, filtering, and column configuration right for lists that can run into the thousands of rows.
- Improve what's already shipped — Refactor and harden existing module screens as real usage surfaces edge cases — this is an established product, not a greenfield rewrite.
- Keep performance in check — Watch bundle size and render performance on list views that can run into the thousands of rows, and fix regressions before they ship.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years with Angular (or a comparable component-based framework) in production
- Strong TypeScript and RxJS — this codebase leans on observables for state, not a separate store library
- Comfortable reading and extending an existing large codebase, not just starting from a blank template
- An eye for form UX: validation, empty states, and error handling that doesn't leave a user guessing
- Experience with reactive forms and complex, multi-step form flows
- Comfortable working from a Figma spec and flagging inconsistencies rather than guessing
- Experience with Angular Material
- Exposure to multi-tenant or permission-gated UIs
- Experience with Angular CDK (drag-and-drop, overlays, virtual scrolling)
